Contains photographs of the following unit and organization: Army Nurses Corps, 3rd Field Hospital. General description of the collection: Kathryn C. Singer photograph collection includes photos spanning her full career and before; photos of her high school days and family; her nurse training and her numerous friends, and many photos of her long service as an army nurse from WWII to Vietnam. She was especially fond of horses and an accomplished equestrian and numerous photos show her riding or showing horses. One of the photo albums has a short table of contents which helps to pinpoint Kathryn's career at various time and places, (1951-1954) Africa; (1954-1957) Fort Belvoir; (1957-1958) Fort Sam Houston; (1958-1961) Valley Forge; (1961-1962) Fort Sam Houston; (1962-1963) Fitzsimons General Hospital; (1963-1965) Okinawa; (1965) Fort Bragg. Two albums are devoted to her service with the 3rd Field Hospital in Vietnam.
